Porto Colom is a Port to Savour

If you're not a golfer, you might not have considered eating out at Vall d'Or, near the south-east fishing village of Porto Colom. Historically, non-golfers weren't encouraged until the club's operation changed; in March 2009, Maxime Deymier rented the premises on the first floor of the good-looking clubhouse, putting his name to the new restaurant. Today, "everybody is welcome," Maxime tells us. Even children. By the time you read this, they'll be offering a small selection of dishes for them.
