LaVena's Easy Pizza Dough

LaVena is a cook at a Greenville bed and breakfast located in Greenville, SC and has become known for her excellent abilities in a kitchen. She cooks some of the most excellent foods here in Greenville. Below you will find one of the many excellent recipes that has been cooked up by LaVena and has become one of my favorites. LaVena's Easy Pizza Dough

Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients:

1 Cup warm water (100 to 110 degrees)

¼ Cup olive oil

¼ tsp yeast

2 tsp honey

3 ½ cup flour

1 tsp salt

Directions:

Process first 4 ingredients in a food processor for 20 seconds (or until yeast is dissolved and mixture is bubbly). Add flour and salt; pulse 6 to 8 times or until dough forms a ball and leaves sides of bowl.

Place dough in a bowl sprayed with coating spray. Cover with plastic and place in fridge for 2 to 24 hours.

When ready to use, place onto a pan and push the dough out with your fingers. Bake first time at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Then take it out of the oven and put whatever toppings you like on it and bake again till cheese is melted and the crust is as crispy as you desire, however you may like it.

I used this recipe to make a homemade wild boar sausage pizza and let me tell you, LaVena definitely knows what she is talking about. YUM!!! This recipe can be used with what ever toppings or sauces that you like. Try to throw in whatever you want and experiment a little to see just how many different types of pizza's you can come up with.
